Cosmopolitan Cassandra
Cassandra is named after Cassandros, a Macedonian king. It is the westernmost tip of Chalkidiki, located nearer to Thessaloniki, and the most popular and densely populated of the three peninsulas. Its white beaches and rocky, pine-clad headlands were the first to attract visitors from Greece and abroad.
Here you will find hotels, traditional Greek tavernas, discos, bars and other enterntainment centres, including a large variety of recreational facilities, particularly water sports. However, if you are looking for some peace and quiet, you can easily find delightful and solitary hideaways.
